Clean, lots of hoppy IPA flavour with a rich sweetness too. Golden colour with a strong hop aroma. Has a bit of a US style IPA feel about it.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge, 03.06.11 consumed that same evening at Crystal Palace campsite, London Pours mid brown, quite muddy, but to be fair it had been dragged around Cambridge in my small rucksack and then in the camper, totally my fault as I forgot to leave it undisturbed (schoolboy error) I’ll give it an average rating and won’t mark it down on appearance. Some citrus in the mouth but also a very slight sourness at the edges, not enough to make me too concerned but its there all the same. Some lemon and a long lingering bitterness, its fine. Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Hazy amber beer, residual white head. Spicy hops - sharpish marmalade orange, trace of lemon and a little grapefruit. Finishes dry. Nice well hopped beer, spicy. Good one HT!

Cask gravity at Colchester BF 2011. Amber colour with slight haze and no real head. Touch of syrupy rubber on the sweet hop aroma. Plenty of fruity hop in the mouth with peach and apricot. Then a satisfying hop sting on finish. Finish lasts nicely. Some condition in the mouth helps. Tasty enough UK version of an American IPA
