500 ml bottle from Wasanas in Idar-Oberstein. Pours a golden color with a soft white head. A fantastic aroma full of lots of cloves and Spicies. Taste is a great example of a Hefe. One of the best.

500 ml bottle from Wasanas in Germany. Pours a nice hazy orange color with a full beige head. Aroma is cloves, bubblegum, andcitrus. Taste is a very nice combo of the same with a slight wheat addition. Palate is smooth and ends slightly bitter. A great example of style.

Bottled from supermarket in Passau. Bottle is labelled with Löwenbrauerei Passau Hazy dark golden color with small white head. Aroma of banana, wheat. Taste, starts with sourness, continues with banana and red fruit hints. sweet finish. Boring beer.

Würziger Start. Unvermittelt stark nelkig-harzig. Im Abgang Ananas-Aromen, malzsüß. Sehr aromareiches Hefeweizen.

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big frothy white head. Clove-spicy, moderately wheaty and slightly banana-fruity aroma. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Almost sugary malty and wheaty, slightly fruity taste; sweetish and slightly sticky malty taste with a lack of any bitter or sour counterweight. One-dimensional Weizen ྐྵ.VIII.09).

Bottle (labelled: Löwenbrauerei Passau): Pale golden, big fluffy off-white head - quickly collapsing; moderate sweet aromas of bananas and wheat in the nose; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit sticky; shorter sweet-sourish finish with a very faint tartness. Drinkable........

The beer in the glass looks really good. Almost a bit dark for a helles hefeweizen. Tastes fruity, like banana, not too much. Notes of nuts. Intense and well balanced finish. Very drinkable and good hefeweizen!
