COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From bottle. red in color, clear, nice head, kind of a medium bitterness in the end. medium body, with taste of alcohol and toasted malt. looks like vintage, but doesn’t taste like it. typical red lager with a little to much alcohol compared to the light body.

Flaska.

Bottle. Aroma mostly malty, caramel. Clear amber colour. Taste is again mostly malty, though it has a solid bitter backbone. Caramel. A bit too sweet, makes for a sticky mouthfeel. Light DMS in the finish. Average.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear deep amber colour with steady airy head and medium body. Aroma of caramel and barley. Taste of mild hops, mild barley, wheat, bread, grains, caramel and apples. Easy and nice to drink, not a bad one.

Draught at Achim’s Beck’shaus, Bremen. Clear reddish brown with a medium off-white head. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Sweet with bitter tones. Roasted malts, red and dark fruits, herbs, hops and caramel. A decent German brew.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear brown with a small brown head. Malty Märzen aroma. Roasty spicy taste. Mild palate. All in all an okay beer, but it’s getting less overall points due to the brewery’s extremely sexist ad campaigns.

Tiny brownish head. Clear brown colour. Sweet roast aroma with a hint of caramel. Likewise roasty taste and palate with coffee notes. An impressively good Märzen!

Geschmack malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leichte Bitterkeit.
