One of the many beers I got on my weekend in Germany, and another average one also. This one comes from a can 500 ml. It pours a golden yellow colour, with a one finger head that won’t last and no bubbles or anything.Aroma is of malts, nothing weird here. Taste is bitter and a bit metallic, but I justify it since it comes from a can. On the palate is thin, with medium carbonation

Poured very light yellow with a frothy off white head. Aroma of overly sweet, grainy malt. Light body, flavour is lightly sweet, lightly bitter.

Flaska 500 ml.

On tap at a pool hall in Berlin. I ordered it because it was cheap, on tap, and a beer I hadn’t tried. Smoother, less bitter, and less hoppy than I expect from a pilsner. There’s a sweetness that I think isn’t balanced by as much bite. Relatively light-bodied though, not too heavy. Easy drinking, pleasant, and with no objectionable qualities, but I’d prefer any number of the more hoppy, more bitter German Pilsners.

Grassy hop aroma, some grains like a helles. Clear golden yellow. Very bitter and pretty metallic. Crisp and dry, not that light. Rates poorly here I did not think it was that bad. For .5 euro for .5 liter, would do it again.
