@ Havregatan. Flaska från Netto, Burg (€ 0,60). Malt och hö i doften, men den är tunn. Malt och hö även i den tunna smaken, men även något metalliskt.

Hannover 4/9 2016. 33 cl draft at Mariott Hotel. Nice glass with a grouse and Hasseröder written in obscure letters leading to me calling it Hafferöder for most of the evening. And all time favorite from Eastern Germany. Pours clear yellow with white head. Settles as 1 cm layer of foam. No lacing. Aroma of sweet malts with sour and bitter notes. Touch of sulphur. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by nice distinct pronounced bitterness. Very typical German Beer. Clean, crisp and fairly bitter.

Draught at Hamburg airport. Classic grassy bitterness and sweet grainy malt profile. Pretty quaffable for what it is, but there are so many better options for German macro Pils.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of bread, some grass and corn. Light and with a medium bitter finish.

500ml bottle (Random petrol station, Germany)
Crazy starch and wallpaper paste aroma. Pale, brief head. Sweet starchy papery cardboardy acrid mess. Finish chemical and nasty. Some almond later. Nope.

Marduk (6323) - Reval, ESTONIA - AUG 6, 2016
500ml bottle (random petrol station, Berlin). Clear golden color. Tiny to almost no head. White bread, malty, corn, papery, sweet in aroma. Some hops too. Sweet, toast, hop extract, some sort of vitamins in taste. Sourish grains, sweet and corny in aftertaste. Dry papery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Last region tick to complete Germany so I don’t care.

Bottle (shared by philduk, thanks). Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, cardboard, grainy. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, cardboard, malt, hop extract. Overall: rather bad macro pale lager.

400ml on tap at Marché, airside at Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld. Rings of lace from a dissipating white head. Bright golden body. Aroma of pale malts and grass. Modest taste character of pale malts and lightly spiced noble hops. Distant bittersweet ending. Easy to drink. Refreshing, clean and easy going (08.07.2016).

500ml bottle, from trade with Erzengel. Many thanks. Pours clear gold, nice white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt. Taste is grassy, smooth with a brisk bitterness. Caramel sweetness isn’t far away. Perfectly fine pils.

Bottle @ Getränkemarkt / Schwaebisch Gmuend Germany --- Clear light amber color, huge white head that never drops below one finger, big waves of lace. Taste is light malt that adds fizz and floral hops in a medium finish. Just another "drink all night" Pils, like so many others in Germany, but easy to handle.
