Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Week roasty notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Some roast. Average moderate bitter finish. oily palate. Ok but a little thin.

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, little burnt caramel, bread, coffee. Flavor is roasted malts, grain, bread, milk chocolate, light grassy hops. Medium body, light creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice and easy drinking beer. 020413

Bottle, pours dark mahogany-black with a fine beige head and aromas of coffee and plum. Typical roasty schwartz body with burnt caramel, burnt toast and a little coffee, and then hop bitterness and hints of milk chocolate in the finish. Nice example of the style.

Bottle at home. Pours black with a dense creamy beige head. The aroma is malty and cornish with some light roasted notes. The flavour is light coffee, malt and light liquorice.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Taste of sweet coffee and awful palate of beef stock and stew, nothing really nice. Low bitterness, quite sweetish.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Just a drinkable schwarzbier with some coffee and stout like aroma. Still has some chickengravy-like taste. OK and drinkable. Nothing more.

Bottle. Schwarz! Medium beige head, roasted malt aroma, nice unobtrusive bitterness, hints of caramel and dark chocolate. Me gusta.
