Leicht bananiger, frisch-hefiger Geruch.

Hell hefiger Antrunk, wenig herb. Bitterer werdend, die Heftigkeit steigert sich leicht. Milder im Mittelteil, zaghaft hopfig. Auf Dauer etwas langweilig. 11/8/9/8//8

Bottled. Pale hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is banana, some wheat, yeast, mild herbal notes as well as some toffeeish and citrusy notes. Flavour is being rather similar in a very nice balance. Quite a good body for being 4.7 %.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy gold with a super thick foamy off white head. Aroma is a lemon-lime with eastery notes. Taste is very eastery, too much, and wallpaper glue. Palate is also very eastery and dry. Not true to style form. Might have been infected.

Muddy blond color. Nice aroma, not only wheat, but also light citrus fruits and hop, very delicate. Good wheat flavor, with a sharp spicy character. Correct bitterness. A good Hefeweizen.

500ml bottle (Helsinki Beer Festival 2011)
6 Almost creamy wheat aroma.
3 Bright yellow, small head.
6 A little lighter in flavour thtan the everage Hefeweizen, a bit lemony.
3 Slightly thin palate. Finish is fairly long though.
12 Adequate wheat beer, but a bit below what I consider the benchmark.

A pale hefeweizen with a full body and some wit character. Aroma of banana, yeast and some lactic fermentation. Pale and cloudy, makes some lacing. Taste is slightly sweet and yeasty with a refreshing acidic edge. Draught at One Pint, Helsinki.
