[cask, Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh] Reasonably hazy golden orange pour with a decent white head. Interesting aroma, with some citrus and grassy hay. At the time of drinking, I didn’t realise it had that collection of hops in – accounts for the flavour, which is partly citrus, and slightly spicy, before leading into a long dry finish. Very nice

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Fest ’13. Hazy gold with slight head. Big fruity aroma, peachy then just a touch grainy, malty on drinking. The hops show through, quite citrusy, sharp, the body remains a touch thin perhaps but still pretty drinkable. Decent enough beer.

Cask at the White Rocks Hotel, Hastings as Hastings Pale Ale Amber with a loose cream head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass; light citrusy aroma; soft and grainy in the mouth with an orangey citrus flavour; then a dry grapefruity finish. Rather good.
