jjpm74 (3447), Connecticut, USA May 25, 2008 Pours yellow with a fizzy white head. Smells lemony with some crassy elements. Tastes of sweet malt, some caramel, hints of perfumy hoppiness. pumpmaster (309), Florida, USA May 15, 2008 Updated: May 20, 200812 ounce bottle at La Carreta in Miramar Broward County, FL A Bacardi brand with La Crosse, Wisconsin label. No reference to Cerv. India. doubleo (966), San Diego, California, USA Dec 26, 2007 12oz bottle. Could have sworn it was from Mexico but nah! Puerto Rico it be... Pours a clear yellow, with this white head of smaller bubbles. Smells a little tinny, smell some malt no hops. Taste has a bit of hops to it and a little malty aftertaste. Palate is thin but crisp, well carbonated Not a bad beach beer. I could drink this all afternoon. My bottle says 4.5%abv so I don’t know if it’s 4.5 or 5.5. kramer (1956), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 10, 2007 12 oz bottle, Cuban Revolution restaurant, Providence RI. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold body with minimal to no head retention. Low visible carbonation. Nose is that classic mix of corn and DMS that screams "World Lager". Flavor is laced with corn sweetness as well as some light doughy malt at least. Mouthfeel is thin, watery, and very fizzy as expected. Overall, I guess it was OK for my needs at the moment, as the food was what I was interested in tasting. BREWMUSKCLES (818), WEEHAWKEN, New Jersey, USA Jul 20, 2007 STRONGER ALCOHOL PRESENCE (AT LEAST %5.5) IN THESE CANS! A BIT SWEET AND CORNY WITH A COMPONENT LIKE BROWN SUGAR WORKED IN TO -CLASS IT UP-. YOU CAN TASTE A BIT OF NICE HOP FLAVOR (LIKE BALLANTINE ALE). AND YES I SUPPPOSE THAT TASTE COULD BE NOTED AS SOUR (ALTHOUGH I WAS A BIT MORE OPTIMISTIC AT FIRST). I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS THAT HORRIBLE.
