bottle at lunch in Miami. just boring yellow with nose of wet grass. tastes of grain, hay, grass, metal, and floral notes. not very good or rememberable. i was wondering what cuban style lager meant. quite the little gimmic to be able to sell in cuban restaurants

Bottle: Blindly this competes with any other APA. Malty, hoppy, herbal & bitter, nice. Food Pairing: Fried whole fresh fish.

355ml bottle pours a dirty golden color with a finger of white head and no lacing. Aroma is light malts and hops. Taste is malty sweet with mild hop bitterness. A little too sweet for my liking and not recommended.

sweet and syrupy with a strong rusty metal taste mixed with a kind of cheap perfume. always has been like that. good bigger bubble carbonation makes it refreshing (with the sting).

STRONGER ALCOHOL PRESENCE (AT LEAST %5.5) IN THESE CANS! A BIT SWEET AND CORNY WITH A COMPONENT LIKE BROWN SUGAR WORKED IN TO -CLASS IT UP-. YOU CAN TASTE A BIT OF NICE HOP FLAVOR (LIKE BALLANTINE ALE). AND YES I SUPPPOSE THAT TASTE COULD BE NOTED AS SOUR (ALTHOUGH I WAS A BIT MORE OPTIMISTIC AT FIRST). I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS THAT HORRIBLE.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Had this all over Miami, and it was largely forgettable, particularly with the fine Cuban cigars we had thrust on us by our importers while on my buying trip. Sweet, slight garbage aroma, with an inoffensive flavor that becomes cream corn (not a good thing to me) as it warms. Fuller bodied than most of the other lagers we had.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Pacific Liquor in San Diego. Pours dark gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy. Skunk touch? Medium body with mild foamy carbonation. Sweet with some grassy hop. No skunk. Pretty drinkable, but not memorable. Finishes slightly sweet.

Bottle and Liquid Sunshine VI. Thanks After4Ever! Fresh mown grass aroma, slightly hazy yellow. Soured, makes my nose wrinkle, finishes clean enough though.

12-oz. Thanks, After4ever! The name of this beer makes me want to say gesundheit. Various bits of chunkulation swirling at the bottom of the bottle. Pours hazy pale amber with a white ring of foam. Aroma and taste of sweet toffee wrapped in huge skunkiness. I think I detect a vaguely crisp finish making its way thru the skunk.

12-oz. Thanks, Hopscotch! Wow, what a totally awesome label. Hazy pale gold with tons of floaties kicking around in suspension. Loose white whiskers on top. Wet hay nose. Mild sourness. Watery, fizzy body. Hay, wet grass, sour corny flavors on the mid-palate. Neutral finish.

Blond with pilsneresque head. Light corny malt and grainy aroma, but overwhelmingly skunky, which is what you get when you put an execrable beer in green bottles. Pretty unpalatable corm malt and skunk with some type of German hops. Drain pour.
