Opened a .5L bottle and poured into a glass. Medium yellow color with little to no head. Upon drinking, I’d say very little carbonation and the first taste is a bit sweet with the typical German bitter finish. Not bad because there’s very little sticky aftertaste. Not extremely light or heavy. Aroma is somewhat dough or flour-like. A slightly different take on the typical German yellow beer.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass - straw. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120203]

It’s slightly hazy golden with a creamy, white and lasting head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit/flower and straw. The flavour is light to moderately sweet with the same notes as the aroma, and the finish is slightly dry.

Bottle: Golden, smaller white head, lazy carbonation; moderate sweet-grainy to malty nose with some "woody" hops underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet grainy and delicate hoppy finish. Really good......

bottle, donated by pivnizub. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty, sweetish with biscuits. There is a tiny smoky touch present in the far distance of the palate. Great!

Bottle, thanks Pivnuzub. Honeyish and earthy aroma. Deep golden, low carbonation, white lace. Chewy grainy body, sweet, earthy, straw finish. Starts out impressively but falls a bit flat.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Sweet grainy malty aroma with a slightly bready touch and herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, pretty light bodied for an Export, soft carbonation. Slim malty taste with grainy and shy herbal hoppy notes; slightly sweet malty and chalky finish with a restrained hops character. Lacks balance and body. 03.VI.10
