Had this as Kohlenmühle Eiszeit Weizen. Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts malty-yeasty, some fruity notes of apricot. Finish a bit sourish-soapy. Quite drinkable. Okay.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle! Best before 15.01.15. Rated as Kohlenmühle Eiszeit Weizen. Smooth and mild, malty body with not too much fruitiness. Fresh, easy to drink with not too much typical Weizen aroma. A bit unround-strange in the aftertaste.

(draught at the brewpub as Kohlenstoff & 33cl bottle as Eiszeit Weizen at home) Cloudy, dark amber to chestnut-brown colour with a big and firm tanned foamy head. Banana-fruity aroma with notes of ripe citrus, noderately wheaty with a whiff of caramel and clovy spice. Moderately sweet and slightly sour-fruity flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Initially dark malty and moderately wheaty taste with caramel and present fruity notes of banana and citrus; moderately sweet, mildly toasty and caramely finish with a balanced fruity touch. Really pleasant. 03.XI.13

From tap at the brewpub. It’s unclear, dark brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is slightly sour with notes of yeast, wheat, light caramel and fruit. The sweet flavour has notes of clove, yeast, caramel, fruit, and the sourness is strongest in the finish.

[3204-20100731] Keg. Fragrant egg and floral smoked wood aroma. Hazy, dark brown body with a quick foamy off-white head. Roasted plum and smokey malt flavour. Medium-full body. Interesting, drinkable.

A Mes rate. Mini cask at Chris O’s "Has anyone seen my stool?" tasting.
Amber with a thin off white head. Fruity roasted malt dominates. Slight estery notes and a tinge of leather. Delicate bitterness in the finish. Not bad.
