Yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is wheaty malt, lemon, and floral hops. Flavor is lemon, paper, and floral hops. Decent bitter on a bit of a thin and fizzy beer. Refreshing though.

Bottle from The Liquor Collection, Honolulu, HI
Blond color, hazy; medium sized head. Light aroma of corn and cereals. Crispy flavor, some malt and light corn again; correct bitterness; the mouthfeel is pleasantly dry, but smooth enough as well.
Easy beer, but it’s a pleasant alternative for the thirst, on the island.

Pours clear gold with a sweet, faintly fruity aroma. Taste is a nice blend of malt, hops and tropical fruit, though too light to be exceptional.

Bottle on Ke’e beach, 19/08/12. Vanilla, corn and faint lemon on nose. An odd English woodland note, sesame, Custard Cream biscuit hints, maybe corn. Watery and hopless but OK for chugging chilled on the beach.

Clear golden in color with a finger wide white head that fades almost instantly. Aroma is of citrus, fresh cut grass, and cereal. Flavor is thin but balanced with notes of bready malts, flowers, and citrus.

Location: 12 oz bottle from the Wine Corner in Paia, Maui, 7/8/12

Aroma: The nose is pretty much pale malts and a bit of fruit
Appearance: The pour is clear and golden in color with a white head
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, and lightly hopped, similar to the nose
Palate: The feel is clean and smooth with a fairly light body and rather good drinkability
Overall Impression: This was a pretty average Golden Ale, but it did the job of being refreshing, which is more then half the battle for this style in this locale. By that I mean, this one works in the setting that I assume it was designed for.

Drinking from the bottle on a beach in Maui! Aroma is tropical. Flavor is also fruity, some hop bitterness, it really makes a good beach beer. After snorkeling its quite refreshing.
