Flowing as smooth as Pahoehoe lava. Deep black and undulating with life, erupting with the riches of the dark earthen flavor from the newest land’s world-renowned beans.
A full flavored, easy drinking Stout made with real Kona Coffee beans.

Very dark pour from tap, thin tan head and light coffee/malty aroma. Nice coffee flavor and balanced but forgettable. Lots of coffee stouts to choose from, this did not stand out in any way. Would I drink again? yes. Would I order again? no.

On tap at Yard House, Honolulu, August 2013. Black with a small, creamy tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, coffee and some caramel. The finish was dry and bitter. Medium body on this one. Descent stuff.

Draught at the brewpub
Black color, with beige creamy head. Some aroma of roasted malt and old coffee. Lean mouthfeel, quite smooth; the flavor of roasted malt and coffee is fair, a bit too simple, with increasing roastiness towards the end, and correct bitterness.
Not bad, but monodimensional.
