Angeloregon (1549), Portland, Oregon, USA Jan 7, 2008 Thanks to El Gordo for bringing a bottle of this by over the weekend. Between a group of friends who scored some of these from the now defunct Sindees in PDX, this is the last one. Other old bottles of this had lost carbonation, but this one was well carbonated with a bubbly grey head. Nice deep amber and brown body with lots of sweet caramel malt presence. Fruity and hot with alcohol. NOt a bad beer. RIP might Hawks! zathrus13 (1044), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA Nov 16, 2007 Pours brown/amber, with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hops, and fruit. Flavor is caramel, malt, fruit, and hops. Body is a little thinner than expected, but it doesn’t really take away from it. It’s sad to see Hawks no longer in business. Thanks Ezra, for this bottle.
