Bottle Traci brought back for me from her trip to Cumbria. Thanks baby! Warm copper pour, shiny buttercream colored head with good lace. Very pretty floral hops with a fresh citrus edge, just a hint of vanilla caramel below. Brisk grapefruit hop bitterness with a solid malt backbone. Light palate with just enough weight to be satisfying. Clean, bright and refreshing. In a blind tasting I’m not sure I could tell this from SNPA, and in my book that is high praise!

Jan 13, 2008 Bottle from booths, keswick. Aroma is grassy, citrus, really hoppy with a honey pale malt backing. Taste is a similarly very drinkable beast.

Dec 13, 2007 If you are into funny labels etc. then you never would buy a beer from this brewer. But luckily I did anyhow, because they make great beer. It’s a dark golden beer with a nice head and a floral, fruity aroma, that is very nice. The flavour matches the aroma and has some notes of roasted malt too and a really nice bitterness.
