On cask at the Beer Hall. Appearance - hazy golden with a proportionate head. Nose - elderflowers and a general herby feel. The main aromas are citrus. Taste - more citrus and herbs. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced finish. Overall - the beer of the day which is unusual as it’s not one of my preferred styles.

Cask @ The Font, Manchester. Pours clear gold with thin white head. Unfortunately this was just way too warm, had a sweet gooey banana aroma with overripe bananas, sugar and dough in the taste. Served at the right temperature I’m sure this would’ve got a higher rating but this time it was too offputting. Will re-rate if I see it again.

Bottle BBE 05.15. Sweet vanilla, grapefruit and lemon cheesecake aromas. Cloudy yellow/orange appearance with a towering, loose frothy head. Prominent sweetness with a bitter edge. Lasting sweetness on the tongue. Smooth, creamy texture with a stickiness that coats your teeth. Low carbonation

On cask at Duke William, Burslem. Pours cloudy yellow with stiff white head. Very citrusy and fresh. Creamy mouthfeel, not like a German wheat beer but a cracking ale. Excellent.
