COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Golden Ale. Hoppy and uncompromisingly bitter with complex fruit flavours from the blending of a modern English hop, First Gold, with the outrageously fruity American hop, Cascade. A hopheads’ beer... with balance. A real beer drinkers beer.

Cask@The Criterion, Leicester. Amber beer with a strongish head. The aroma is lightly fruity, and the flavour is bitter with hops and a lot of dryness. Overall a reasonable dry beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Subtle aroma of grapefruit and straw.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a thin white head that gradually fades. Flat carbonation. Very light lacing.

Taste: A straightforward Golden Ale. Light fruit and biscuity, pale malt.

Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Flat carbonation.

Overall: A light, simple Golden Ale. Lovely.

Cask conditioned handpump Veritas Leeds 23/09/12. A golden beer with a big tight white head and lace. The nose hints at decent bittersweet balance but is a bit plain. It cmes alive a bit more in the mouth with good hops and a nice malt backbone. It has a fine flavour profile and in another world would be really good but actually it’s all a bit plain.

On tap at Craft. Very light haze on this gold beer. Light palate, smooth mild carbonation. Whisper of sulphur. Mild minerals. Very mild citrus. Bordering on insipid - just about saved by whispers of orange and honey.

Cask-conditioned at the Black & Gold beer festival, the Gryphon, Bristol 2/9/2012. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Light citrus fruit and grassy hop aroma. Flavour had some summer fruits, cereal malts and decent, bitter finish. Ok.

Citrus fruits and bread to the nose, taste the same, fairly thin mouthfeel, spicy bitter fruity finish. Expected it to have a little more to the hops, much maltier than expected.

Cask. Straw yellow, solid white head. Fruits, bread, cereal smell. Taste: light fruits, biscuits, cereal. More of a body and less bland than the Windemere. Excellent blonde.

Heavy bodied with a pale ale texture, and seriously hoppy which is pleasant for the nose.
