Commercial Description:
Cask, Regular;
Hawkshead Gold is a hoppy, fruity and bitter ale brewed with Maris Otter malted barley, a blend of English and American hops and water from high in the Cumbrian fells. It is brewed at Hawkshead Brewery, in a 17th Century listed stone barn at the head of Esthwaite Water, in the heart of the English Lake District.

Cask at Woking beer festival. A light bronze colour with thin white head. Plenty of fruit in the aroma, with a very citric taste.

Cask in the Hawkshead beer hall. Alround rating: What a ber, hoppy, excellent american hop resins, pale malts and showing but the resin character is soo drinkable and amazing.

[Cask at Hereford festival 2006] Very good golden ale, best beer of the festival for me; besides the tipical aroma and flavour of this style, the hoppy dryness is sided by an unusual taste intensity and a good body.
