330ml bottle. This is a clear gold shade with a compact white head. Aroma has a sweet edge and showcases the NZ hops pretty well, with lots of white grape character coming through. Other than that I can definitely pick up some of those cat piss notes people always mention. Plenty of carbonation. Fairly dry rather than having the sweet edge of the aroma and ends with a lip-smacking pithy bitterness. Good stuff from Hawkshead.

Big aroma of citrus & hops, pours a wonderful clear golden brown. Taste is very hoppy, with fruits and some vanilla which gives a slightly different taste to other pale ales. Very nicely balanced palate going into a nice bitterness. Another very nice ale from Hawkshead. Recommended.

Served from a super fresh cask at the brewery. Almost clear deep golden colour with a thick blanket of head which waves everywhere. Hungry deep tropical fruit bitterness.

Cask at JDW (Counting House) Glasgow, Scotland. Pale cloudy golden body, floral and hoppy aroma, quite a sharp hop on the tounge, crisp and bitter finish. Very enjoyable and full on with the hops!

Wonderful pacific pale, similar to the other well hopped hawkshead beers, with a distinctive tasting citrusy hop with lots of depth. Refreshing and dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale hoppy new world hopped British pale ale A small amount of wheat Malta adds refreshing character to the beer. Personally I am a big fan of Nelson Sauvin hop and I like the fact that now we have move passed showcasing than and into using them more technically in a blend of buttering and aroma hops.
