Managed to identify green bullet, riawka and motueka by nose alone before reading the label, feeling proud! Pale blonde with lots of grape and citrus in the flavour, gentle carbonation and very easy drinking for its strength. Fantastic

Cask, Hawkshead BF. Amazingly creamy, pale hoppy ale. Gooseberry in the aroma, peaches in the taste, bags and bags of flavour, with a massive finish. Beats the Cumbrian 5 Hop for me and that takes some doing!

In bottle, thanks Matt. Pours a lovely golden colour with a thick and rocky beige head. Great kiwi hop aroma of passion fruit and pineapple with similar resinous flavours. Well balanced alcohol with moderate carbonation. Just a little CO2 prickle and an oily mouth-feel. Very nice with lingering pine and passion fruit flavours.

Big aroma of citrus & hops, pours a wonderful clear golden brown. Taste is very hoppy, with fruits and some vanilla which gives a slightly different taste to other pale ales. Very nicely balanced palate going into a nice bitterness. Another very nice ale from Hawkshead. Recommended.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2013 Aroma: Mango and kiwi notes. Sweet caramel.
Appearance: Completely clear light golden body with a thin, pure white head. Light carbonation.
Taste: Very hoppy with a tropical fruit flavour. Pine resin in there too. Dry, bitter finish.
Palate: Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation.
Overall: One for hop heads. Lovely sticky resin and fruit flavours. Arguably Hawkshead’s finest beer.
