Jul 9, 2008 Bottle Traci brought back from Cumbria. Thanks baby! Shiny dark copper, solid off-white head. Pleasant toasted cereal aroma, a bit of earthy hops. Toasted caramel sweetness with a little chocolate edge. Well made and goes down just fine.

Jan 13, 2008 Bottle from booths, keswick. Aroma is biscuity, hints of grainy malt, grassy and hints of citrus. Taste is again a malty chap with similarly hoppy notes to aroma.

Dec 13, 2007 Mahogany res with a nice head. The aroma is fresh with lots of hops and malt and notes of fruit. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, light sweetness and a pronounced, dry bitterness. This beer has a interesting and good balance, that I like very much.
