Cask in the Hawkshead beer hall. Aroma is not as hoppy as thier other beers more biscuity and peppery hop. Taste is similar soft and balanced, english hops add a peppery fliuyral note to it.

Cask conditioned at The Anglers Arms, Haverthwaite, Cumbria. Pale gold beer with a white foamy head. Malty dry bittersmooth with a certain pepperiness on the tongue. Good solid flavours with citric notes and fruitiness. Enjoyable.

Gravity cask @ Southampton Beer Festival 06. Yeasty eggy with light dusty hops. Slight malt sweetness with a bnice fruity hop finish which doesnt lift the beer above average.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Golden beer. Nice, smooth, lightly peppered with a hint of citrus. Slightly crisp hops and lemon: good balance. Thought this might be an APA or at least a Golden - not sure what a UPA is?!?

On hand pump from the Cask in The Alex, Derby. No sparkler as it was match day. This "Ulverston Pale Ale" was a very pale Golden colour. Sligthty dry, a pretty tipical example of a Pale Beer.
