ALLOVATE (2112) - Butler, AUSTRALIA - APR 14, 2013
An attractive number; effervescent with a persistent off-white foam that laces a thick film. Body a sparkling orange chestnut. Nose is dominated by salted peanuts, taffy, praline and fresh baked white bread. Super sweet malt and cereal grain on the palate. Frothy mouthfeel though light in body with a sickly burnt toast and caramel finish. The only kink in the chain is a dry peppery hop note just on the swallow. Not much here really. Well made nice tasty easy to drink beer. The Pleasant roast malt stood out for me with this beer offering a pleasant but mildly flavoured beer with just a hint of bitterness to balance the malts.

Jado (255) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - JAN 14, 2013
From 330 ml bottle. It pours a clear honey-amber with a thin white head. Roast malt and a light floral note on the nose. Taste is mainly smooth malt followed by by a crisp hop bite. Body is a bit thin for this style. Fairly simple but quite enjoyable.

Brenhophead (382) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 26, 2012
330mL bottle. Pours a lovely deep mahogany with a nice creamy head. Aroma has that typical english hop twang, 1 part spicy, 2 parts rust steel. Despite the lack luster aroma the beer has some interesting flavour. Worth a try if you can get it.

KeefOz (472) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUL 16, 2012
Poured a dark brown with reddish tints and with a thin beige coloured head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of caramel malt. Taste initially sweet followed by moderate bitterness and smooth in mouth. Moderate to high carbonation. Thin to medium body. Finish initially short, sweet and smooth followed by a lingering bitterness. Worth a try.

Dredd (638) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - JUN 18, 2011
Deep amber pour with generous tan head. Aroma seems to be slightly dried apricot. The flavour is sweet bready malts, stonefruit with some roasted malts at the tail end. Good, but could do with more guts in the mid palate as it finishes a bit faint.

Bottle 330ml. Very good dark ale. Aromas of cola, hints of caramel, and some pine. Taste is sweet, with bitterness taking over. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Brown, with a frothy head.

Dark amber body with poor head. Caramel in the aroma. The caramel tastes a little burnt and made it a bit of a struggle. Tried twice now and has seemed different both times.

Bottle - Amber with off white head. Medium to high carbonation. Caramel malts. Very fruity. Moderate bitterness. A nice refreshing drop.

A bit ho-hum but that said nothing really wrong with this beer. Very varietal across all measures. The faint toffee malts are mostly offset with a dry palate with some noticeable hop impact. A bit sticky on the finish and I would think this would make ti tough to suck back more than a few in one session.
