On tap at Mrs Parma’s. Not very interesting. Aromas of flowers, leaves, and some band-aid. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and short-lived. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Yellow, bubbly, with a frothy head.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, hay, grain, dusty, light hoppy, floral. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, dry hay, hop bitter, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110819]

Botella. Unclear golden, tiny floaties. Aroma of herbal like hops, bit fruit. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour has a fruitish herbal hoppiness, light to medium bitterness.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Rather boring on the nose, fruity and sweetish, with some pleasant hoppyness. The flavor is fruity, with a pleasant bitterness towards the end. Sweetish maltyness, but not cloying. Medium body, quite dry. A decent beer indeed, but a bit boring. 110819

From a 330ml bottle on 19/3/2011. Has a slight grainy, grassy malt aroma with a touch of lemon. In the mouth, it’s quite sweet, with a quite sharp lemony hop finish. Okay, but nothing special.

Underwhelming Bohemian pils. A reasonable thirst-quencher if there’s nothing else around but it seemed too sweet for the style and not especially true to its source of inspiration. Found a bottle quite cloying by the end. Rheumy gold with a slight haze and a soft but lasting head. Some hay in the aroma with sweet, lightly floral notes - violets I guess - plus cookie dough. Smells too sweet for a Bohemian and any Saaz is muted. Slightly grabby mouthfeel. Lemony hops, over-sweet mid-palate and a pinch of salt in the finish. Reasonable bitterness. (330ml bottle from Australian Microbeer Club)
