Poured a clear golden amber colour with a one-finger bubble head that diminished quickly and left some lacing. Moderate to high carbonation. Aroma sweet and a bit hoppy but not strong. Taste initially sweet followed by a very mild hops bitterness. Light body. Crisp smooth finish.

Consistently excellent, bit of hops an interesting taste of roast malt. Feel very glad to have this beer diversifying the Australian market

Pours golden color with virtually no head. Nice fruity aroma. Thin malt body with a medium lasting bitter finish. Tastes almost like a lager or pilsner. Ok, but nothing more.

mattyhennessy (366) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - OCT 5, 2014
Pours a clear golden with a syrupy texture and a foamy white head. Probably the maltiest pale ale Iíve had. So much so that it seems very out of balance. The sweet malty aromas drown out the citrus and tropical fruits that are only just detectable. Taste is toffee driven with some cerealy and bready flavours. Okay if you like malty beers

Very fruity aroma, passionfruit. Clear golden colour with excellent thick head. Malty up front with toffee dominating. This then fades into slightly bitter finish. Heavy body with low carbonation.

Was surprised the brew rated so high. Poured a hazy orange amber with small white head that lasted only shortly. Aroma sweet citrus, touch of stale sourness. Taste empty water up front followed by sour yeast and not much bitterness. Thin on palate, dry mouthfeel, with short finish. Overall, not good. Perhaps something was wrong with my bottle. Shrug.

330mL bottle 16AUG13 Pale golden body, great clarity, holds a small white head. Pleasant aroma of floral hops. Notes of grapefruit, stonefruit and pine, with an underlying pale malt toastiness. Medium bodied, decent carbonation, quite crisp and refreshing. Pale malts lend a cereally, lightly toasted sweetness to hop flavours of citrus, pine and subtle tropical fruits. Finishes with a well integrated bitterness and lingering malt character. Quite nice, certainly one of the better Aussie APAís on the general market.
