COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Speaking out in defense of your beliefs is the cornerstone of the labor movement, and a great way to honor those that came before us. This American Double I.P.A. is hopped with 4.5 pounds of Chinook hops per barrel, which speaks pretty loudly as well.

Tap. Pours orange with a white head. Very nice hop aroma. Pine and citrus flavor. Not overpowering for a double IPA.

12 ouncer at Haymarket Brewery. Looks nice and bright orange with a floral smell. I must have gotten a bad glass of it though. I got a little nauseated from it. The pine, grass and astringent-chemical flavors did not sit well in my gut. It was the first time I can remember ditching a pint at the bar when it was still half full.

Fairly nice overall. Didnít seem very hoppy for a double IPA, but there were some good grass, hop, pine, citrus flavors. Very bright mouthfeel. Medium finish. Light golden-ish color with a decent head.

Clear gold with a thin head. Cat pissy and rich caramelized malts in the aroma. The pissy ness evaporates to reveal fresh floral hops. †Bitter pine thatís strong and cloying. Syruppy sweet and boozy. Nice carbonation †This one is not too great but it grew on me a little. Bitter boozy sweet. 8/3/7/3/15

4 oz. pour at the Haymarket brewpub Chicago Illinois. Pours a orange/ gold colour with a white head and lacing. Aroma is sweet hop, pine, citrus. Taste is pretty overwhelmingly hop. I love hops however there was something that this was missing to round it out.

4oz pour.Clear orange pour, little carbonation and an aroma of HOT sweet hops. Flavor is a light, sweet orange hops, slightly biting and finished a bit dry. Decent beer, but not great.

Draft at Haymarket, pours clear golden with white head. Nose orange citrus and pine aroma. Flavors are bright and citrusy, lots of grapefruit rind, piney goodness. Med bodied, fresh and juicy. Bitterness can get a little astringent but Iím a fan!

Draft at Haymarket. Single hopped IPA, pretty cool. Pours a hazy gold with a fluffy white head. The nose is full of citrus and pine resin, some faint biscuit notes as well. Very much a testament to Chinook with itís specific sort of profile. On tasting, intensely bitter, crazy bitter even. Chinook is a bit harsh. Dry beer, lots of citrus and resiny hops with a bit of a catty note as well. Really well made IPA here. Nice.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich glowing orange amber hue, orange edges, decent hop haze, and a frothy brighter white head dies to decent film, laces ok as it sticks around small. Aromas are vibrant citrus and sweetness. Lots of oranges, touches of gumball, pale malts and sweeter toffee. Healthy florals, grass, and dry earthy hops touch into it, but sweeter fruity hop essence dominates. Tons of tangerine and oranges, citrusy grapefruit offers some appeal, but sweeter. Initial is medium bodied, maybe a bit thinner, offering a healthy bitter bite up front. Dry florals, earth, pine, and grapefruit come into play. Middle offers some mellow sweetness, pale malts, biscuits, and bread move in with some sweetr bubblegum/gumball essence, orange rind, and cotton candy. Still remains quite dry and bitter, which keeps the sweet essence from dominating in my opinion. Dry and bitter finish with lingering citrus, orange, and peach. A strange brew. But, the bracing bitterness on the palate keeps that sweetness beneath ok. Not the worst but not the best from the D/IIPA Family at Haymarket.

Draft... Medium clear orange copper, great lacing coats the whole glass... Another weak nose , mostly just light chinook, I like that part... taste is really out of balance, all hops no malt, too bitter and grassy, with a bit of citrus would be really good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
