Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a pitch black colour with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, bourbon and wood. Flavour is rather rich with roasted malts, bourbon, wood, raisins and floral notes. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a roasty warming finish. Really well balanced.

Draft at Mikkeller bar. Pours black with a ring beige head. Aroma of massive bourbon, vanilla, cocoa, milk chocolate, toffee, fudge. Flavour is heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Excellent!

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Pours completely opaque black with a small, staying, creamy brown film head. Aroma has plenty of vanilla, chocolate, roasted malts, light nutty. Softly vinious. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry and very creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good chocolate, chewy biscuits, mild spiciness, light roasted, vanilla. Quite sweet overall, with that sticky feel to its warming finish that I don?t like all together. After a few sips, it feels far too heavy and sweet for its own good.

Clear dark black brown colour with a small, open and fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, light alcohol - bourbon, light wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, wood, laber larver. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcohlic. [20130111]

Smooth beer, bourbon dominated, coconut, caramel, booze, cocoa, and fruitiness dominate.

Cloudy dark brown body with a small light brown body. Aroma is caramel, mild coffee, licorice, alcohol, bourbon. Flavor is bourbon, "labre larver", caramel, alcohol, roastedmalt, licorice. Delicious.

Almost black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and smooth. 110113
