Really nice orange and pine aroma, lovely to smell. Sweet front and then some vegetal notes to the flavor. Chewing gum like Juicy Fruit. Good thick body. On tap at brewpub.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aromas is light with mellow, sugary lemon bar notes and a musty funk. A murky yellowish, hefe looking beer is topped by a dense, white foam that retains a medium ring and has a runny lace that only lightly sticks to the glass. A medium sweetness is balanced nicely by a medium bitterness. An oily texture goos down smooth with a fuzzy carbonation. The medium body is doughy and lemony with sweet grapefruit and a piney zip at the finish. Grapefruit sticks around on the palate in the aftertaste with some dough and pine notes coming up late. It’s lightly astringent and a bit waxy too.

[Tap] Light amber color with a nice amount of haze to it. Medium-high carbonation level. Nose is very yeasty. Spicy clove mixes with piney hops. Notes of pine cone, grapefruit zest, Belgian yeast phenols, mild alcohol and caramel in the taste. Sticky mouthfeel. Good overall.
