COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In honor of Lucy Parsons, the wife of A.R., who was hanged for his involvement in the events of May 4th, 1886 just outside our front door. This beer is bold, strong and complex like Lucy herself. Sip on a glass, take in the warmth and aromas and talk politics!

It does have some hoppiness to the aroma but the flavor is light and very fruity.

Dark golden colour. A nice fruity tripel. Quite a bit sweeter than the dubbel. Enjoyable.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a hazy deep gold color topped by a finger of off white foam. A subtle belgian yeast aroma. The taste is of belgian yeast with a slight hop kick. There was hints of fruit mixed in with the typical belgium malt sweetness. Medium body with gentle carbonation.

poured from tap into glass. Pours a clear yellow/gold color with a small head. Good aromas of spices, creams, and some citrus with a touch of florals. Lacking depth though. full bodied, but really lacking on both the mid and back end. Some nice flavors of citrus and creams, but not much flavor going either. this was forgettable. It’s drinkable, but forgettable.

On tap @ the brewpub. Medium golden, thin white head. Aroma of coarse cereal grains, banana, light spice. Golden syrup sweetness, banana, spice, lightly hoppy finish. Quite warming. Not my favourite style to begin with, and this didn’t seem to go anywhere I haven’t been before. Just okay for me.

Tap at Haymarket. Dry and hoppy, it wasn’t necessarily a smooth beverage, but I appreciated how it was different. Lots of fruit notes and a full piney smell. It has a potent taste that can wreak havoc on your tastebuds.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is full of banana with belgian yeast, flora and backing light sweet grains. Flavor is light with banana and Belgian yeast with a bit of light grain. A bit muddled and too much banana.
