COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brad and Maeve, of Hop Cast fame, brewed this hoppy red ale as a wedding gift to each other. Light and sessionable, though bursting with flavor, this brew was hopped and dry-hopped with Amarillo and Citra, showcasing aromas of citrus and pine.

Hoptastic red ale with a light finish and intense hop flavor. A lot of aroma going on here, orange citrus and a little bit of pine sap and wood. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a lightly hazed ruby copper hue, some darkness in the middle, healthy glowing orange and copper edges. A cakey offwhite head atop stays well sized, laces well. Aromas are richer big citrusy grapefruit, florals, and lemons in the fold. Grass, a touch of pine, some sticky malts offer biscuits, some toffee, and toast. Big grapefruit juice, florals, light resiny pine at times. A touch sweeter, but a rich load of hops covers well. Initial is lighter end of the fold offering good grapefruit punches up front, juicy and citrusy with some gumball, florals, lemons. Touches of pine, more florals, and some touches of bread, toast. Firm bitterness remains into the middle, some grapefruit, juice, as some biscuity and bready malts show into the backend. Florals, a touch of spice, bread and toast. Finish offers a nice lingering bitterness, singy grapefruit and rind, florals. Touches of mellow bready and faint biscuity malts. Lingering rind, grapefruit, florals. I wouldn’t call it complex, but it’s put together well, offers good balance of flavors, great sessionbility. Nice one. Nose gets a bit sweeter as it warms, but the beer and flavors, balance and palate play are quite nice.

Draft at hay, pours not red at all, same color as other ipa samps, haze gold white head aroma is grapefruit and clementines, awesome nose. Flavors is sticky sweet caramel and grapefruit and clementines, chewy feel. Nice hop profile, malts are sweet and messy. Still tasty. god the music here sucks.

Poured from tap into a pint glass. Pours an amber color with a foamy head. Very good aromas of hops, citrus, some malts and amber grains. Good depth with nice complexity to the aromas. Medium bodied, but on the lighter side. Balanced, but almost all attack with flavors of hops, citrus, and some malts. This was kind of a Jekyll and Hyde beer for me. The aromas were really good, but it seemed to lack on the feel.
