madsberg (4377), Bangalore, India Oct 2, 2008 Bottle bought in Kerala. Light golden coloured. Clear. Quickly diminishing white head. Chemical and light fruity in the aroma. Flavour is totally watery and has no significant notable signatures. Very thin body and no aftertaste at all. This is a sorry excuse for a beer imo, and fortunately I have only seen it in Kerala till now. No need to find it otherwhere, apart from being able to provide my rating brothers in Denmark with yet another bland pale lager rating. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Jan 27, 2007 Bottled, acquired and drunk on location, Samudra, Karrela, India.
Golden fizzy larger. Large course bubbles rise rapidly but fail to form a head. Another forgettable beer, perhaps less offensive then the others. [Glycerol included] DrnkMcDermott (1597), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Aug 8, 2006 Like with Cornfield, a bottle from Foremost Liquors, Oak Forest. "Mfg: 3/2001’ and smells it: skunky taste pours out. Thin, clingy head stays in. Still a little darker than the usual American piss, but not by much. Smell settles, not surprisingly, to the sherry notes of oxidation. Taste is hard to describe, because there’s no little of it there. Thin and watery, even the bubbles in it don’t perk it up much. I think it’s mostly grain, but they’re so indistinct, they might as well be corn squeezin’s. Are we surprised there’s no hops? And I poured this into a glass which just held some Delerium Tremens, in hopes of taking the edge off. Now the odd thing is, I’m sure this store only started carrying Indian beers a year or two ago. So how they’d get such an old stock of bottles. Well, you can see why I’m not saving this for Rating #2000. Cornfield (4412), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jul 2, 2006 Looks like a sick man’s urine with some bubbles on top. The thankfully faint aroma has some grainy malts to it, but is mostly sugar and tin. Thin. Tastes watery and grassy and sweet and metallic.

Odd. The 5000 was so drinkable.

Foremost Liquors, Oak Forest, IL
zach8270 (1470), Henrietta, New York, USA Dec 1, 2005 (bottle - 650 ml) Clear and pale yellow. No head. Looks like apple juice. Slightly sour and bitter smell with some hints of grain and grass. Slight taste of apple peels, apple cores, grass, hay and some malt. Not much hops present. Lots of grain. Very watery.
