Almost golden body with a half decent head. Alcohol stands out on the nose followed by corn and malts. Taste is pretty ordinary and fairly thin, more corn notes some resin and more alcohol. Drinkable but not that enjoyable.

From the bottle into a pilsner glass in the searing afternoon heat. Hoping for an enjoyable start to a long, beery afternoon, but this one would not fit the mould.
Ordinary in appearance, no surprises. The head grew up the glass and with the bubbles audibly bursting it receded back down a thin, lifeless layer of suds. Lots of carbonation streaming inside its pale, yellow tinged, gold body. Fruity, burnt sugar, slightly savoury nose hinting at fresh toasted muesli with a little alcohol tickle. First mouthful was toffee and table sugar sweet, again showing sweet/savoury, dried fruits and echoes of cereal grains which bounce along on into the sweetish, noticeably alcoholic swallow. It continues very sweetly, a light note of pine peaks through. With the body very light - and softer than soft carbonation - it becomes flabby as it warms and lifeless by the end. Severely in need of balance this sweetish ’Euro Strong’ just fades off into the background. Not my thing, onto the Home-Brew!!! (33cL, 07/10/06, The Beer Store Morley)

From a 11.2 oz. bottle with a blurb and bottling date/batch number on the back label. Poured a hazy dull yellowish golden with a small foamy white head that quickly settled into a fine lacing, very minimal amount of ringed sticking. Smells of sweet neutral pale malts that meshes with a raw clear alcohol, a very subtle apple fruitiness and a light musty spiciness. A steady moderate carbonation and a softly alcoholic crisp, dry, thin, light bodied mouthfeel. Not an offensive taste, but pretty bland one, thin sweet neutral pale maltiness, a soft sour apple fruitiness, a light, light spiciness, the alcohol is in the background and a bit solvent-like, and a dry malty finish. Well, I’ve tried it and I see no reason to return to it any day/year soon.

Hazy yellow with a thick white head. Mildly sweet corny aroma, with a taste that predictably follows. One of the better indian products. $2.50/650ml

Really not a great lager but for 7% hides it taste really well. Probably better than most american macros but not by much. Really like on the hops and not too bitter.

Apu (his real name) sold me this one at the local quickie mart, and quite a salesman he is to this day. A nice strong lager that is fantastic with pizza. I agree with the other posts that this has a longer lasting body than most brews. Alcohol presence known but not eyeball turning. Try it if you can find it.

12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. Bottled on 07/12/05, Batch #127. Not a fresh sample then, huh? Poured out a light straw yellow color, with a thin white head. Very clean aroma, but sulfury yeast smell. Not much flavor either. Slightly sweet, not much else going for it.

Virtually no aroma at all. The appearance is a clear gold brew with nice carbonation and a poor head with no lacing. The palate lasts longer than a normal American lager. It actually reminds me alot of a typical american mal liquor. The beer has a stronger sharp flavor. Contrary to the commercial description, I taste very little malt in this beer.

good straw color, small white head that had a short hang time then faded to leave nothing behind. The aroma was grainy and cerealish with some lemon grass and hops. The flavor was nothing like the aroma with a grainy taste some metallic tinge as well as a bit of hops.Unbalanced garbage and drain pour imo.

With over 10 million cases sold annually, I hope most of them are staying in India. Macro India beer I assume. I like the alcohol content ’cause the beer isn’t anything to be happy about. Medium bodied lager that isn’t distinctive at all. Slightly drinkable; moreso if you already have some in your system.
