3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Haywards is an Indian lager with some flavor and body. Sweet maltiness that isn’t too bad for an Indian restaurant. Nice amber color with fluffy head that dissipates quickly. Served in an big 1 pint 6 oz bottle.

Bottle via Krampus from BoostIPA, pours a mostly clear golden with a small white head after an aggressive pour. Aroma of sweet corn, grain, and pennies. Taste like corn soaked in soap nasty sweetness into bitter vegetable compost.

1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle from Beer Run. Pretty sweet addition to the selection. The pour’s medium gold with a big white head. The nose is pretty sweet. Loads of honeyed cardboard. Maybe some sugar cookie. The taste is crass. Strong chemical burn. Nasty. Not worth investigating further. Medium body, very fizzy. Very poor.

Very clear yellow pour via a 12oz boostle from bytemesis. Thanks? Here we go... Malt likka from India. Aromas of creamed corn, DMS, lotta cooked veggies. Sticky sweet. Very low carb. Finishes extra sweet with a note of fuck you. No.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle share thanks to Homer321. Ms. Homer says "Hayward ya blow me?" Very clear golden color. Aroma of corn adjuncts and some spicy phenols, likely some type of curry. Pretty smooth, corn adjuncts, sweet sugary malt, not a bad likka.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to bytemesis. Crystal clear yellow with small white head that dissipates quickly. Nose full of corn but not overly skunky or grapey or appley. Not much to the taste other than a touch of make behind the sugary adjunct flavor. Mostly corn. Some alcohol noticed in the finish. Pretty solid.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, cellared for 15 months. Pouring into a large brandy snifter, the color is golden yellow, like the dawn over Calcutta. Thankfully there is no foam to obscure its magnificent hue. After a few swirls, like the best beers, the aroma evokes an air of mystery: corn syrup is obvious, yes, but there is something else, something stalking around the edges. Alcohol? Grain? Just when you think you’ve got it, it vanishes again. Then there is the flavor... Wow! It is almost architectural in the way it builds layer upon layer. It is clear that they had the Taj Mahal in mind when they created this beer. And i daresay it exceeds its inspiration!

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2014 Bottle. Now this is a winner! Pours crystal clear golden yellow with a small fizzy white head that dissipates quickly leaving OK lacing. Aroma is holy corn syrup, batman, plus grain. Flavor is the same, corny and soda-like, medium sweet and little bitterness. Light body and low remaining carbonation. Full yuck.

Fra dåse, 50 cl, nytårsaften i. Mandrem, Indien. Gylden, klar, og med et lille hvidt skum. Dufter sødt af sukkermalte, korn, nedfaldne æbler og alkohol. Meget boozy i munden, får et skær af metal og et anstrøg af hovedpine efterhånden som den varmes op. Halvdelen endte i håndvasken.
