Bottle that my dad brought along and shared with me, cheers dad. Consumed 26.08.10 Pours amber with a tiny bit of haze & busy carbonation, though it is bottle conditioned according to the label. The nose is a touch sweet, taste also but there is a good bitterness but describing it as an Imperial IPA is stretching things a bit far. Some fruitiness showing with citrus in particular. Bottle. Orange and slightly cloudy.Lovely hoppiness with a presence of fruits. Bitter finish with a medium body. Lots of flavours floating around in this excellent beer.

Bottle conditioned. A Christmas present. Umm, lovely smell of grape juice and pineapple resin. Pale amber in colour, good conditioning with balding head. Nice mellow mouth feel, hints of liqueur and dark-rum. Finish has that heavy alpha acid bite of some of the stronger Imperial IPAs I’ve tried without going so far it’s a toilet cleaner. I quite like this.

From bottle, 50 cl. @ EBCU Brussels, 15.09.2010. Hazy amber color, with a offwhite head. Aroma sweet, flower-fruity hops. Medium body. Taste little sweet, fruits, with nice good bitterness. Good.

Cask, Charters, Peterborough. Amber with no head. Aromas are spicy pine hops and sweet malts. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with fruit and pine. Spicy and addictive on the finish. My first beer on a barge.
