Golden coloured and slightly sweet with some sour fruit flavour. Slightly bitter creamy lasting finish. haddonsman (1189), Derby, Derbyshire, England Jan 25, 2006 Cask (gravity) at the Derby CAMRA summer festival 2005. Sweet nose, honey seeps through in a fairly unsubtle way. More like full bodied honet with a hint af ale. Still a decent brew but, as maeib says, it could becoem a bit too much chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Jul 15, 2005 Amber colour. Loads of honey in the aroma. There’s some balancing bitterness on the palate but I found the honey a bit too much after a while. Overall, quite pleasant, but the honey could be better integrated. Cask (gravity dispense), Derby Beer Festival.
maeib (3958), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jul 11, 2005 Cask conditioned - gravity - Derby BF. A copper coloured beer with a sweetish undistinguished aroma. The taste is sweet with the honey coming through. It has a good body but could easily become cloying.
