BuckeyeBoy (1211), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 4, 2008 At Oregon Brewers Festival 2008 (lable was Vancouver IPA) I guess it is the same?? Pours out a cloudy amber topped with a nice head. Aroma of ligth hops and wheat. Tast of hops, wheat and some black licorice. Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 29, 2008 Poured a hazy amber body with a dull, creamy, caramel U.K. nose. Not much of a mouthfeel or balance. Lots of diacetyl infection. Metallic and buttery. Not that good. Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2006 Amber, hazy. Aroma of diacetyl and English hops. The body is flat. Flavour of caramel, diacetyl and hints of herbal hop. Late earth. it’s not out of whack (the diacetyl) so if you handle it or aren’t all that sensitive to it, there’s nothing wrong with this beer. But I’m quite sensitive to it, and I despise it. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Feb 26, 2006 This one almost has a bit of tropical fruiitiness to it, mango, grapefruit and some melon, sweet and juicy and fruity, with a very light hop character, finishes up with some green tea flavors. argo0 (6289), Washington DC, USA Jul 25, 2004 Clear amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, melon. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, melon, herbal. Taste is medium body, light resin. Also tried it on nitro, which wasn’t very good.
