Appearance: yellow turbid color. Little head, of white color and low persistency. Aroma: sweetness-sourness of fruits, such as pineapple, orange, pink grapefruit and tangerines. Pale Malty. The citric hoppy, with notes of herbs and pine. Flavor: sweet malty and fruity. Reminiscences of honey. Presence of tangerines and red apples. Sourness-fruitiness of peel orange and grapefruits. Dry finish, with medium and persistent hoppyness. Too a slight metallic tone in the end. Slight rancid note. Palate: light to medium carbonation. Light body with semi-viscous texture. Mediocre; but “a fun beer”, refreshing and better that all the "industrial Chilean beer". (sorry formy english)

Draught at the brew pub. Hazy golden colour with a nice creamy big white sticky head. Aroma is sweet, bit fruity with a little sourness. Flavour is fresh, fruity, bit mallty, some sweetness, with a bitter lasting finish. 23rd January: The full name is "Cerveza Artesanal Rubia Tipo Pipeņo".

Cloudy yellow body. White head. Lacing lingers in the glass’ walls. Sweet, citrusy aroma. The flavor is of course sweet, fruity with peach hints. The finish is somewhat bitter. Light to medium body. Its palate is very smooth. However, I had a cold when I tasted this so I’ll give it another try some day.

Draft: Shows a deep, cloudy yellow color. Served without head, it shows a decent white lacing. Aroma is as soft as possible. It reveals shy notes of lemon/lime and almost unnoticeable hints of cereal and bread. Flavor is citrusy with mild sweet touches and a somewhat astringent note in the finish. A slight trace of cereal can be percieved when holding it in the mouth. Nice rounded body, texture is thick for the style and smooth. Very refreshing and much better than any Chilean macro. Anyway my veredict is: Must try harder. Of course this is supposed to be drunk in high quantities, so it’s not complex at all.

Well, when I first came over to Santiago I had every intention of visiting this place to increase my firm hold on the Chilean beer stakes. something about having to work a bit got in the way. Well, this time was easier as the office of the company we have just acquired there is walking distance from this pub. That’s the good news. The other side of the coin seems to be that this is a bit of a homebrew type of taste, that surprisingly in a land of lager is not so bad. it is a hazy yellow on the pour and there are some definite hints of fruity esters abounding, especially apple and peach. Any more and it could be considered to be a real fault. The hop profile is low, as it seems tht the nation on the whole do not appreciate bitterenss or aroma over a more cloying sweetness. Look, it is a company giving this style of beer a go and so we can applaid them for going in the right direction.
