PBOYNY (316), Westchester, New York, USA Jan 4, 2002 BOMBAY IS EXCELLENT, I LOVE THIS STUFF!! HAS A FAINT VANILLA AROMA, AND IS A LOVELY AMBER HUE. YOU CAN REALLY GO WILD ON THIS BREW AND I AM ADVISING YOU TO DO SO...NOW!! P-tor44 (887), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Mar 25, 2002 malty nose with subtle hints of belgian spice. amber, no head. thin and malty with little mention of the spice i smelled Indra (1873), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Aug 5, 2001 Updated: Nov 13, 2003Aroma is very fruity and malty. Very nice deep amber color. Carbonation and head are somewhat on the light side. Flavor profile is quite malty, with the afore-mentioned fruitiness being quite evident. Finish has this maltiness, which is quite unique, mingling with some nice hop flavors. Quite a different beer for me. Not quite sure what style this would be...I guessed by the name it would be an IPA, but no way. ESB seems a likely category. legion242 (1523), Richardson, Texas, USA Jan 1, 2002 Orange in color; no head; typical pale ale nose. This is one of those Jeckyl and Hyde beers, because aesthetcally (sp?) it did nothing for me- no head, no excitement in the nose. But the sharp hops on the sides of your tongue were nice and the Cascades were hidden in the back as a nice afterthought. Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Feb 25, 2002 Pours a nice amber, minimal head and fair lace, sweet some what fruity nose, malts also present, start sweet, the middle light, mild carbonation, light hop presence in the quite dry finish. Drinkable, but nothing to cheer about.
