wilkie (1099), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Feb 17, 2004 Pale orange color--small, but nice white head. Light fruity, semi-sweet aroma. Flavor is same with slightly bitter finish to add to crispness. Would like a little more of a robust flavor, and more maltiness. JPDIPSO (4345), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Aug 12, 2002 Light golden with a thin whispy head. Light malt and corn aroma. Very light bodied. Dry finish. Way to light for style but not a bad refreshing beer. igneous1 (1367), Davenport, Iowa, USA Mar 15, 2002 fairly hoppy, and a flavor quite typical of Berger’s ales. Aubrey (2625), Denver, Colorado, USA Jun 4, 2000 Clean and refreshing with a malty finish. Golden color. German yeast creates a real ’yeasty’ flavor, similar to many Belgian ales. This is not a bad, light Kolsch.
