Gold medal winner at the 2006 NABA. This beer knocked off 2 years of Sam Adams Utopias. I highly recommend it.

Tap at GCBF. Cloudy reddish amber coloured beer with no head. Very sweet aroma, fruity, cherry, and raspberry. Flavour is also thick, sweet and chewy. Cherry, berry, and plums amongst some thick chewy malts. Oily syrupy texture. No bitterness but there is a hint of earthy hop aroma. In spite of the sweetness, I found it very drinkable.

Cloudy dark amber. The aroma indicates a big, chewy, richly fruity and malt beer. It is - a little too rich actually. The body is thick, and heavy. The flavour is very sweet...I’d say underfermented sweet. The finish shows a slight extracty-gasoline type note. Needs more time!

Dark amber ale with a raison kick. Can’t stand having it not on tap! It’s a big beer (>10% ABV) but don’t expect to taste any alcohol in this malty brew. As to the name - expect to feel blown away after you enjoy this one. I reccomend getting a cold one and let it warm up to just below room temerature for best flavor and balance.
