(12oz bottle) Sampled at the Post-post-Great Canadian Beer Festival 2007 in Victoria on September 9th, 2007. Courtesy of Oakes. Thin yellow head with dissipating to the edges and deep mahogany body. Nose of raisins, puree apricots, marshmellow. Fruity and DAMN malty. Lasting tart finish and mellow warm malt. Very good.

Dark brown body. The head dies quickly - it’s a superheavyweight after all. Quite an interesting juxtaposition of light fruit esters (peach, apple) and dark malts (demerera, caramel). Oily, slight, and very sugary. Dark date and plum character towards the finish. Nice, sweet, interesting strong brew.
