Pours dark with a little white head. Aroma is very faint but roasted malt and grain. Taste is light roasted malt and a faint hop and corn/grass in the aftertaste. Pretty boring beer really.

473ml can. Huge fluffy head with a beautiful creamy colour. Very dark ruby-brown colour. Nose of caramel, brown sugar and yeast after a couple of minutes. Taste seemed more like a stout to me, quite dry.

Jet balck but to light I see red and purple. Smells of some chocolate. Is the 1st taste how the pale ale taste? Do they make a stout on it’s own? Start’s off watery & just really gross but as I waite a moment and take it in, it turn’s into this awsome chocolate taste that has sometimes a little sour side that reminds me off like a mocha liquor or something. So start’s off awful but b4 the enxt sip go’s awsome. Average beer hash a shitty side and a good side to it cheer’s.

Pours deep dark brown. Aroma is mostly yeast, and some sweet malt. Taste is syrupy sweet - like unfermented malt extract. Needs more hops. Just too sweet for my taste.

Can LCBO Pours dark brown (not black) with moderate tan head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt. A little watery, light, quick disappearing carbonation. Taste quite sweet, brown sugar or toffee. Refreshing.

355ml bottle poured brown in color with a big light tan head that left some thin lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt and some hops. Taste is roasted malty sweetness and a light hoppy bitter finish. A decent brown ale.

Canette 473ml. De couleur brune foncée et claire. Nez de grains de malt rôtis avec des notes de caramel brûlé, léger de chocolat noir et de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches) aux faibles notes florales ainsi que des notes de noix grillées. Mince-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture légèrement crémeuse. Nez de grains de malt rôtis dès l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute progressivement un léger goût de chocolat noir avec des notes de caramel ainsi que des traces de pain grillé et de biscuits puis en finale l’on retrouve une très légère amertume de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé) avec des traces de noix. Post-goût moyen, légèrement amer de rôti / grillé, léger de houblon herbeux avec des traces de chocolat noir et de noix.

50 cl can, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Deep brown, thick frothy head. Muddled aroma of lager with brown sugar. Milky texture, some tinniness and sweet caramel on the finish.

473 ml can. Pours a big tan head that lingers. Strong, bitter malty flavor.

Pours dark brown with little head. I would like to try this on tap, we may have had an old can because this wasn’t as tasty as I thought it would be.

Canette de 473ml. Bière brune-noire avec reflets rouges. La mousse est compacte et de couleur beige. Elle est passablement durable. Le nez est léger de chocolat, café, rôtie. La bouche est crémeuse, chocolat, agréable. Peu de houblon se fait sentir. La finale est légère mais les goûts de chocolat sont persistant.
