3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewery, it pours copper into the glass, with a nice thick eggshell ring head that leaves spotty lace. The nose has some copper and grains. Sweet caramel malts, a touch of dough mid-palate and finishes with a tiny spiced bitter. The mouthfeel is thin and overcarbonated. This feels much more like an ESB than anything else.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
For me this one was a little thin and watery. I didn’t taste enough malt or hops. At Bear Water there are a lot of better choices.
