Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Fesitval 07. Badged as Heart of Wales Heart of Wales. Fruity malts with pleasant earthy hop. Flavours aren’t especially forward or characterful but are mildly pleasant.

Bottle from Björn, thanks. This was one of the best beers Björn brought back from Wales in this beer sampling. The only thing negative was that it lacked a fine foam. The aroma was nice fruity. The taste had a fine malt taste with a perfect bitterness for a bitter. Highly enoyable and big drinkabillity.

Bottled. Hazy amber, minimal head. Spicy pear aroma. Dry and dense with light body and soft doughy malt. Long spicy bitterness. Tasty bottled bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 28/8/07. Dark amber with a slight white head. Fruity malt aroma followed by a slightly sweet flavour and bitter finish. Ok.

Cask Handpump from the Outside Bar at the Star Inn, Huddersfield 31/03/2007 Very hoppy and floral aromas. Thick white head. Amber coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish. A little thin and watery.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival. Thanks Alex for doing the research mate! Amber coloured. Slight alcohol notes to an otherwise malty nose. Flavour still has the slight alcohol but the malt is replaced with hops. Nothing amazing, but a drinkable mellow ale.
