COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle conditioned; Regular.
The final addition to our line-up was aimed to please those who look for an ale "with a bit of a kick". At 5.5% abv it requires a little respect, particularly with its deceptive smoothness and easy quaffability. With a tip of the hat to our brewery’s origins, we have christened it Innstable.

Cask conditioned at Brecon Beer Festival, Castle Hotel, Brecon, Powys. Dark amber with no head. Dry, bitter beer but with a strong boiled vegetable note, maybe a bit cabbagy. Some sweetness through the finish, dark roasted malt. Its ok.

Bottle from Björn, thanks. Almost no head. Clowdy golden color. Nice aroma with both hops and pale malt and just a tuch of caramell. Big hop taste with a fine malty body and firm bitterness.

Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Fruity white pepper aroma. Medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and buttery. Warming finish with low bitterness and some chalk.

Cask (handpump), as Heart of Wales Inn Stable, at the Darlington Spring Thing beer festival 2011. ABV was 6.8%, according to the festival programme. Cloudy orange colour, low head. Aroma of unfermented wort, fruity and grassy (or rather: hay-like) hops. Poor condition, the flavour seems "unfinished" and "raw". Some caramel, hops and fusel alcohols, quite dry. Not much to brag about.

Bottle. Slightly muddy appearance on opening which was a bit off putting. Pleasantly fruity with a medium body. Some bitterness and quite a powerful presence. Shame about the appearance.
