Feb 16, 2008 Bottle. Slightly muddy appearance on opening which was a bit off putting. Pleasantly fruity with a medium body. Some bitterness and quite a powerful presence. Shame about the appearance.

Jun 2, 2007 Cask conditioned at Brecon Beer Festival, Castle Hotel, Brecon, Powys. Dark amber with no head. Dry, bitter beer but with a strong boiled vegetable note, maybe a bit cabbagy. Some sweetness through the finish, dark roasted malt. Its ok.
