Bottle from Björn, thanks. Thick fluffy brown head. Dark-red color. Fine roasted malty aroma with some dark chrystal notwes. The taste is much harder roasted boardering to harsh together with black coffey taste.

Bottled. Black, rich head. Roast yand creamy. Dry and mild with some licorice and soft mouthfeel. Hugely drinkable with marked, yet mild roastiness and balanced bitterness.

Gravity, Coventry 2011. Type of beer that makes me think there might be some kind of covert scene going on somewhere in Wales. Mahogany with a yellowed tan head going nowhere. Aroma lightly smoked peat and grilled aubergine. Condition is thick and moussey; taste is slightly dank aubergine, ink (only have the occasional half) and peat dusted with drinking chocolate. Beautiful. Might just give that English muck a miss in future.

Gravity at the 2009 Great Welsh Beer Festival, pours a dark red-brown with a coarse beige head. The nose has apples, toffee and lots of black treacle. Quite light bodied, with a dry, slightly vinous taste and a long dry bitter finish that doesn’t match up to the promise of the aroma - a bit one-dimensional.
