beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA Dec 6, 2005 On tap at Heartland Brewery, 51rd Street and 6th Avenue, NYC. Clear golden yellow lager having diminishing small white head with spare lacing. No discernable carbonation. Sweet nutty malt aroma. Medium bodied that starts with slightly sweet malt with notable corn flavor and finishes slightly dry with light bitterness. A very good drinkable lager, one of my favorite Heartland Brewery beers. Goes well with BBQ ribs. cathschlag (48), Montréal, Quebec, Canada May 9, 2006 Dégustée à la succursale de Union Square. Sèche en attaque. Légère amertume en finale. Peu mousseuse. Jaune lager. Odeur florale, trèfle (?). Très limpide. Moelleuse et veloutée en bouche. Laisse une pellicule sur la langue. Lubiere (3410), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 26, 2008 A golden orange lager with a thin lacing white head. A good malt base with nice caramel notes in aroma. In mouth, a classic pils, czech in style, with lots of hops, biscuitty malts, and a nicely oily mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Tasted at the Union Square location, Nov. 2006. obxdude10 (1403), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 22, 2004 Excellent lager, one of the best ones as far as drinkability, very crisp & clean, very smooth, nice fluffy white head with great lacing around the glass, a slight note of corn in the flavors, nicely balanced as a subtle hint of hoppiness showed through toward the finish, very enjoyable & refreshing

Appearance :Crystal clear amber with hint of gold, medium fine top. Good lace created 3+
Nose :fairly sweet malty nose with gentle hop touch.
Flavour/Palate : Good malt character, clean job with no hints of off flavors. Straightforward classic lager with proper attitude. Malt was clean and well exposed. Czech like malty softness is a rare find in North America. Corn did not hinder this brew in any way only adding soft sweetness to its character.
