This was by far one of the best sweet stouts I have ever had. Beautiful dark creamy head. Lots of roasty taste, but never overpowering. Great coffee and chocolate taste near the end. It finishes so nice and smooth, that you have to have more, because even though it is sweet, it is the perfect amount of sweet.

Keg Pint at Heartland, Empire State Building, New York in March 2013 - Opaque Black. Very malty; roasty malts, oaty, lots of coffee and dark chocolate, caramel, hints of liquorice and nuts, some smoke. Creamy and smooth; well balanced. Sweet roast malty throughout developing a dry roast bitterness at the finish. Liked this a lot. Nice Sweet Stout!

5oz sampler from the brewpub NYC. Pours a dark brown/almost black color with ruby red highlights, and a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, vanilla, wood, and dark chocolate. Taste of cheap roasted coffee, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate, and slightly boozy. Mouthfeel was kind of flat.

On tap at Heartland Union Square. A lightly sweet stout, with a little roasty/ burnt toast flavor and sugar. The menu said it was an award winner. I wonder what award it won - the average award?

Mörkbrun med litet ljust skum! Inte mycket doft men lite kaffe! Smakar kaffe och choklad! Ingen kolsyra och väldigt len smak!

Pours a dark black with light brown head. Has a caramel, coffee, and chocolate aroma. Taste is similar to a (good) Guinness with chocolate and coffee. Has a rich and thick texture.

Succulente !

Good coffee and dark chocolate aromas. Dark with hue of caramel against direct light, good head good lace. Medium to full body, malty and sweet, with hints of dark chocolate beans. Nothing extraordinary. Just a good stout.
