Draft at Heartland Brewery. Pours a very dark brown body with brown head. The aroma is very nice - coffee as well as some chocolate. The taste is the same - and extremely well balanced. One of my top stouts for sure.

Nov 29, 2008 (10/22/08) Draught sample at the brewpub at Empire State Building, New York. Dark brown to black color. Aroma of coffee and a bit of fruity notes. Sweet roasty flavor with coffee and chocolatey hints. Medium-bodied.

Oct 26, 2008 A dark brown stout with reddish hues, with a thin white head. The aroma of this beer is wonderful, with caramel, black coffee and Nutella. A good ethiopian coffee bean best describes it. In mout, a bit disapointing, but still good, a rather sweet caramelly stout, with good coffee notes. Tasted at the Union Square location, Nov. 2006.

Oct 19, 2008 (draft, 43rd St) Large beige head atop clear red-black body, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, chocolate, roast. Taste is medium sweet, chocolate, some oatmeal, light roast, cola. Smooth medium body.
